Tuia i Te Hoki Nei - Ngāti Kuia Weekend 2023
We are excited to announce that our Tuia i Te Hoki Nei - Ngāti Kuia Weekend will be held on Friday 3rd February to Sunday 5th February at Te Hora Marae.
Day One
Kawe Mate

- Powhiri: 4:30pm

Day Two
Whānau Day
- Date: Saturday 4th February
- Where: Te Hora Marae
- Time: 12:00pm
- Hangi: to be served approx 1:00pm
What's on!
- Whānau band 'Ols Cool'
- Bouncy Castles
- Lots of other kaumtua and tamariki activities
Just as a taster, we will have cousin Danny Faifai actor/singer/songwriter journeying back to our whenua from Aussie – jamming with 'Ols Cool' cuzzies Michael Bradley, Dez Wilson, and, Barney Wilson
Honey Competition
- One, 100g entry per apiary
- Samples must be from the current season
- Can only be entered by the beekeeper(s) attending the apiary
An independant Judge will be appointed
Arrangements can be made to drop samples into the Ngāti Kuia Offices if you cannot attend the whānau day.
Baking Competition
- All entries must be homemade
Kaumātua will be assigned to judge winning adult, tamariki and overall categories.
Evening Wānanga
