Taiao Iwi Management Plan

As part of our five-year planning strategy, we are currently working on two projects. The drafting of a Taiao Iwi Management Plan TIMP and the early preparations for a Mana Whakahono a Rohe agreement.

The Taiao Iwi Management Plan is a kaitiaki tool for the iwi which will direct how we as an iwi, protect our resources and the values we have for all aspects of our environment. We are on track to have the draft TIMP ready for consultation by the end of March 2019.

Our team also advocates for the outcomes of the Ngāti Kuia five-year strategic plan through engagement, public submissions, and policy development alongside developing our own projects.
