Ngāti Kuia has a dedicated team of Taiao staff that provides professional services, advice, and advocacy for the interests of Ngāti Kuia. Our qualified team consists of Ruihana (Lewis) Smith (Te Pou Hāpai Taiao), Kirstie Paki Paki (Pou Mahere Taiao), Shannon Huntley (Kaitiaki mō Te Hoiere Awa) and, Raymond Smith (Cultural & Taiao Advisor) who manage and undertake these services.

Ngāti Kuia can provide Professional Cultural Impact Assessments, Written consultations, iwi monitoring services, and planning advice to developers, private landowners, and crown agencies. We recover our costs for providing these services.
